I have a new / Factory painted River Raisin #1660 PRR 40' round roof boxcar
Double Door Version, that I would like to trade for an unpainted version of the
same car.
Why would I want to do that?
( This is likely where Mr. Lane deletes me from the list ! )
Some of these cars were sold to the Northern Pacific, ( sacrelidge I know )
which is the version that I want to model. Over the years I have aquired
photos and paint info on the NP cars, and I would prefer to start with an
unpainted model. It seems a shame to strip the decent paint that is already on
the model, so if someone out there has an unpainted version and wants to swap,
please contact me off list. My model is factory painted in a freightcar red
that I assume is correct for the Pennsy, and unlettered. The model that I am
hoping to get, would be the same double door version unpainted!
