Are the SHS couplers currently available, with or without the brackets?  I 
understood they were NOT because of the overseas supplier situation.  DJE

  The SHS Couplers were originally designed for close coupling the F units. 
They even came on a mounting bracket. Don then was offering them as parts for 
cars. The SHS couplers will not easily work with the Kadee 802 style coupler 
box. The springing is completely different. There is no slack action with the 
SHS coupler which is why I prefer it by a nose..
