Hi Brooks -- I had to put up with more than a little extraneous modern railroading BS (man, is modern railroading boring! I can hear the flame throwers warming up...), but your video was a really nice adjunct to your book. I recommend to all those who haven’t seen it, that wading through all the other stuff so you can see it, is worth it.
Thanks! Bill Winans ---------------------------------- A portion of the DVD featuring my BC&G layout is currently available for viewing on The Rail Channel (www.therailchannel.com). You have to put up with a couple of commercials but follow the directions on the site carefully and you can find it. Since someone decided to start the clip starts in the middle of the DVD, the portion explaining that the layout is built in S gauge unfortunately is omitted! Since the video was made, a lot of trees have been added but still the clip captures the look of my layout well..and the great running and sounding SHS Consolidations steal the show. The full DVD is available commercially through A&R Productions and on my website, www.buffalocreekandgauley.com. I don't know who posted on The Rail Channel but it's nice they did. Check it out!
