I just finished varnishing the wood structure of my module (and I'll post pictures of it when it dries) and hope to start laying the ties on Monday morning before I leave for work in the afternoon (I'll be working the entire weekend and couldn't do any work on the module then).
While I've thoroughly planned out the half of this module containing the reverse `Z', I just figured that I'd put suburban/light urban structures on the other half and didn't think about it further. Now that I'm starting to think about it in greater detail, I've been considering putting a Canadian station on this part of the module to create a neat transition, namely the rest of the club's layout set in the lower 48, my mainline section entering Canada, and the single track line to the `North', set in Alaska. One of the neatest stations in Canada is the Galt Station, currently in the city of Cambridge, Ontario, which absorbed the town of Galt. I've posted pictures of this station here; http://groups.yahoo.com/group/S-Scale/photos/album/89841007/pic/list Would any of you know of an `S'-scale station that bears a strong resemblance to the Galt Station and, if not, would you know where I could find `Warehouse walls' or other structural elements that I could assemble to create this station? ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
