Glad you asked, as I didn't think to mention which it was (the instruction 
sheet mentions both):this is the 7' 6" with 36" wheelsets.I can't imagine it 
would work very well for 44-tonners, however (despite having come in the same 
lot asthe LWS kit), as the prototype used 33" wheelsets (36" on 70T) and had 
wheel spacing of 6' 10"(the LWS sideframes are just over 7' to accomodate the 
Tyco diesel truck designed to power it--it doesn't look too disproportionate 
unless put beside a more accurate truck).  The modified AthearnHO trucks used 
by Penn Heritage and Smoky Mountain are very close to correct spacing.Since the 
Mid-Gage use passenger truck sideframes, I suspect the shorter wheelbase truck 
wasintended for gas-electrics and similar applications.
