the vt/wiseman conversion kits were to be used on a ho kit made by
mdc/athearn, now long
out of production, you might luck out on ebay, but will probably pay
4-5 times it's original value

I seem to recall that V&T Shops made conversion kits to convert HO
Shays to S Shays -- both standard and narrow, if I remember
correctly. Perhaps Wiseman has resurrected some of these kits and
perhaps they will meet the need. EdL.
