Has anyone considered a Bachmann On30 two truck Shay? They work out to
about a forty ton Shay, look and run very well, and can be re-gauged to either
Sn3 or S standard gauge. They look pretty good as well. I have one of each,
re-gauged by Terry Putt of Rex Trains. Same for the Bachmann Porter. Lee

Filer is correct---I corresponded with him for several years in those

I think the name was "Filer", but could be wrong.

I seem to recall that V&T Shops made conversion kits to convert HO Shays
to S Shays -- both standard and narrow, if I remember correctly. Perhaps
Wiseman has resurrected some of these kits and perhaps they will meet the
need. EdL.
