Perhaps the record for an ugly duckling.   As Pieter notes, I seem to remember 
a fewscratchbuilt models in the journals; a custom builder did one for himself 
a few years ago in O scale from styrene.  I think there was only one prototype, 
so the commercialpossibilities would not be promising.Atlas also made the Erie 
builts in O scale (what WERE they thinking?)
