Great work Bob.  It's interesting how the familiar identity  of a locomotive
can be changed when one looks beyond the usual placement of appliances.

Subject: {S-Scale List} K-27 Logger conversion

Last week I began the almost unforgivable...I began cutting up a P-B-L K-27
(#455) to create a freelance narrow gauge logging lokey. I added a new stack,
two new sand domes, new lights, new number plate, oil bunker and various other
small details to create a reasonable version of what a D&RGW K sold to a
western logging company (in this case the Sierra-Nevada Lumber Co.) might look
like.

Three photos are posted in the Photos Section under "Bob's K-27 Logging
Conversion".
