I would suggest checking with the folks in the various historical and
technical societies. Many have produced books that give very accurate
measurements. Also, I would imagine that the manufacturers of these
products might have the basic dimensions on a website.

Hi All;
Without having any hobby shops close by to measure grade crossing
signals in different scales to see what will work in S, I need to
impose upon the group's knowledge and experience:
Has anyone found any suitable (probably HO) wig-wags and cantilever
crossing signals suitable for S scale? They do not have to operate.
Or does anyone know of dimensional drawings for a cantilever crossing
signal from which I can make one?
