All,

The S Scale SIG has been hard at work on valuable new content we hope will
appeal to seasoned S Scale modelers and those considering a switch to S Scale.
Below are a few highlights:

The latest installment of the S Scale Journal presents an outstanding article
by Bob Frascella on his recent AM GP-9 to GP-7 conversion. For those of us
looking for a little inspiration for that next great S Scale diesel bash this
article is a must. Find it at
http://sscale.org/782/volume-1-no-11-converting-gp9-to-gp7/

Dick Karnes and David Heine team-up to present a comprehensive overview of S
Scale track offerings. I think even the seasoned S Scaler might find something
new in this article. For example, I was unaware P-B-L offered Code 55 #6 stub
switches. See what you discover at
http://sscale.org/s-scale-resources/s-scale-track-products/

Finally, for those considering a switch to S (and some of us who need a little
pick-me-up once in a while) Ed Loizeaux presents our much anticipated Getting
Started in S overview. Did you know O Scale requires 81% more actual square
feet then S? Learn about this and the other advantages of our favorite scale at
http://sscale.org/getting-started-in-s/

As always we thank you for your support of our ongoing mission to promote S
Scale model railroading.
