MTH was part of it but the real push that got Lionel and MTH making more
scale stuff was when AtlasO arrived. Atlas brought out a very nice line of 2
rail/3 rail O equipment, much like an O version of SHS stuff. Now that MTH and
Lionel are getting into S scale AtlasS would be the frosting on the
