The layout I'm planning and will build is going to be Digitrax DCC. However,
I'm a SCALE modeler, building a layout for operations and not to just run in a
circle.

Geez Ed,

I was just trying to be courteous answering a newbie’s questions. I did not
think I had to research and support my statements with double blind certified
polls from Gallup, Nielson and CNBC. So I will restate for the record since
there apparently are people watching my every word.

Of all of the elaborate indoor layouts of the people “that I know of” not
running AC power for “toy trains” there are 2 people using DC power. (unless
you have changed to DCC recently making Bob Nicholson the only one I know) The
rest of which are MANY layouts are using DCC of 1 brand or another. That
statement should hopefully get past the censors. I even ran DCC on my SHS
Starter loop of track http://www.lanestrains.com/Xmas_2003.jpg for many years
until I got a layout established in my house.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
