Gents.
I am prepping a River Raisin/Overland/Ajin F-7 for painting. As part of this process, I am attempting to remove the floor of the cab which has the seats and control stand attached. This is necessary in order to paint the inside of the cab and the bulkhead. Two screws were removed and now the cab floor (with attached seats, etc.) is loose and rattling around inside the nose area. It appears that it is too wide to be extracted and might be doomed to stay inside the body for all of eternity. I was wondering if anyone else has successfully removed the cab floor and what their procedure was? Is there a secret technique? I could unsolder the bulkhead and probably get it out that way, but I am hoping for a method less risky. Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks..Ed L.
