Not in all cases, Dave... as my SAL B-7 Box Car project stand to prove.  After
many  Y EARS of trtying to get S scalers on board, Jim finally had to threaten
to cancel the project to get everyone to step up... at which point the
reservations DOUBLED, and the B-7 now stands to be his second best seller.

And besides... good, and better things are worth waiting (and working) for...
and it isn't bothering me one bit (except to  increase my desire for it).

But what amazes me the most is that people who are not even concerned about or
interested in the Sergent couplers are the ones raising all the stink about
it... go figure.  I appreciate the concern, but not if it is born out of being
sick of hearing about it../. 'cause all you gotta do is just ignore the
postings about it.

Apparently Sergent is good at design but bad at execution. I proposed years
ago that he license the design to Kadee or some other competent builder and
just get them done. Who knows, maybe the guys who could get it done were not
interested but the longer it takes to get the couplers on the market the less
interest customers will have in them. Many model railroads and model railroaders
have come and gone since the initial Sergent design was created....DaveBranum
