Not sure why you think YouTube is easier than photos. I just created a blog, hosted on Wordpress. The start-up interface is a little confusing, but after about 15 minutes I had everything set up. Now posting new entries is a one or two minute task. I suspect it's about the same on blogspot, another hosting site. This is all free, by the way.
If you're interested, mine is at meldridge.wordpress.com. All I have there now are the "before" pictures, since that's where I am in the project. The name will change as soon as I figure out something clever. This falls under "promoting S Scale."
