  The problem with sergents is not un-coupling but coupling them at a distance. 
If one can't look straight down on them it's very difficult to line up them up, 
the gathering range is very narrow and they don't center. I've experimented 
with them in S and HO size and could live with them if they were easier to use 
and cost less than KD's but they are harder to use and cost more which don't 
make much sense to me for something that's supposed to be entertainment :>) 
 I've standardized on the "scale" head KD whisker couplers for my HO stuff and 
the old reliable KD 802's for my S stuff. If sergent ever gets into full 
production I'm sure some S scalers will use the product just like some decal 
and detail their cars to a higher standard. He probably could sell them in O 
scale size too if he was inclined, the larger size should be easier to use.
