  With all the variations in the colors of real equipment due to re-painting, 
weather, and usage I don't worry too much about the exact color of a model.  
I'll update the details of older models that I buy or have had for many years 
then if their paint doesn't look right I'll weather them till they blend in 
with the other stuff. There's a wealth of online freight car photos these days 
so it's easy to find something to guide the process...DaveBranum
