Twenty years ago at a model railroad flea market near Detroit, I purchased a
stash of Northeastern wooden freight car roofs for S-scale box cars. Slowly I
have been using it for various projects. As it turned out, I have a supply of
freight-car roofs for steel box cars but have run out of overhanging
freight-car roofs for single-sheathed and double-sheathed box cars, wooden
refrigerator cars, and stock cars.

Since the demise of the STEAM DEPOT, I know of no source for purchasing
additional overhanging--at least I think that's what Northeastern called
it--roof stock. Pieces, as they came from Northeastern, were--I
think--twenty-two inches long. If someone out there has some to sell, I would
be interested in purchasing it from that person. If 22 inches is the actual
length, I would like to purchase three pieces.

Looking forward to hearing from a person who might have or know of a supply.

Tom
