>From about Thanksgiving of last year until just recently I have not done any
work on the layout and have barely run it. With the house improvements and
lots of "other things" the layout has not been a priority. Last night and
tonight I ran trains for about an hour after dinner. It does a body good!

I almost "operated" tonight. The SW1 went down to the REA building, picked
up a B60 on 1 track, a X29 and B60 on the other track, left them on the
runaround, came in from the other end and stuffed them up to the waiting E8.
When I saw the runaround taking shape in the track plan I knew I needed the
REA area. Perfect - just as I planned. 2 B60 and 1 X29 fit perfectly on the
runaround closest to the REA building. There is another runaround a little
farther away that is longer.

I did a little more tweaking of turnouts tonight than last night. The B60 &
R50b are really picky beasts because of the trucks hitting the anti-sway
blocks - just like the real thing! There is not a lot of play & movement
there..
