As we are all adding our forklift memories, I used to drive one whilst spending 9 months in Brunei. The military were not too fussy about licences, etc., back then (the 70's) and so far away from official eyes. The only hazard then was receiving an S scale kit from Train Stuff and trying to find room in the homeward bound baggage!
