Since I was not successful at finding more steps I made 4 new ones. (See photo) They turned out to be a little larger than the original step shown at the right in the photo but that is fine. I bent sheet brass into a U shape to form the body and soldered in brass strip for the steps.
Now you may be wondering what these steps are for. Patience there fair S Scale citizen. I promise to show you! They are for a car that even long time S Scalers have not seen in a very long time - if ever. it's a rare bird for sure. I did not "build" it but I am surely rebuilding it. Onward & upward..
