Just returned home from a weeklong stay in Myrtle Beach where our 10 year
old granddaughter was in dance competition. After unpacking the car, there
was just a little daylight left so I took the decorated Laser Horizons passe
nger car sides I had finished decaling prior to leaving and started to
apply glosscote.

I carelessly picked up the wrong spray can and realized something was
wrong. But it was too late. I sprayed a glossy grey of Testors paint over my
Southern dining car sides. So they will not be going to the Convention in
Chattanooga. Maybe I can remove the paint and decals and start over.

Fortunately I only ruined these two car sides. I found the right bottle
and applied glosscote to another set of Laser Horizons sides and some AM
heavyweights I had painted and decaled.
