Hi Peter.

I hadn't been to Derek's website for a while.  He's really added to his line of
airplane profile kits.  I have three of his 1:100 scale kits (including the
much lamented Avro Arrow) which I've assembled as desk toys.  They are good
looking, inexpensive, and go together well.  The 1:66 line looks to have more
of a 3-D look to them although I expect most model railroaders  using them as
layout scenery might want to add additional detailing.

Also check out his HO scale RR line as well.  Some of his HO boats might work
in S and his wheel stops look closer to S scale than HO, although Derek claims
they are correctly sized.

Belated compliments on your latest website postings.  It's always fun to watch
someone else work.

Cheers
Jim Martin

Subject: {S-Scale List} Model Airplanes/Boats Web Site Link

For those interested in adding a model airplane to your layout, I just stumbled
across this web page:

http://www.osbornmodelkits.com/militaryjetcollection.htm

The bottom 1/4 of the page shows 1:66 scale airplane kits (note
that the last one is O-scale).

They also carry O-scale small boats, which might be usable in S:

I've never had any interaction with this Canadian company. It is
      just FYI.

Enjoy,
 - Peter.
