Bill,

Those trucks are outstanding. If you had them positioned in a sceniced
setting, one might take them for the prototype. Years ago I recall having an
AURORA tractor-trailer model but must have lost it. This was decades before I
had a model railroad.

I wish I could find some of the AURORA kits because they represent the early to
mid-Fifties, exactly the period I model. I did see one on E-bay, but it
brought about $100.00. I could not afford that. Too bad AURORA went out of
business.

Subject: {S-Scale List} REA Building & My friend Gus

Tom,

Yes it is a Walthers kit (actually 2 of them) & is 1 of the best buildings on
my layout now. It can represent a good amount of action once I get the yard
turnouts in order to run reliably. But as previously mentioned I cannot claim
any fame to making the REA building. My good friend Gus Minardi put it
together. I am truly blessed with talented generous friends.

Gus is a much better well rounded modeler than I will ever be. Some may
remember some trucks he made for! me http://www.lanestrains.com/Gus_Trucks.jpg
from the old Aurora kits. I have about 6 of them Gus built to this level.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
