Don't forget to check BTS site www.btsrr.com 

Bill lists some diesel grab irons. The former F unit set had all the parts you 
want, IIRC, but is now out of stock.

The Tichy parts are very good, probably finer than the old North Eastern parts. 
They are bronze, so need painting, while the NE parts were black steel wire.
