Thanks for the post.. but given the evolution of the idea that ended at
mostly fixing broken plastic grabs "ready to use" is the most appealing. If
I have nominal interest in any given thing making it more difficult it use
does not help. Most people do not have a way to accurately cut wires to a
given length in a repeatable manner that is easy to do. Also do you have a
resistance soldering unit? That is what you would mostly need to make your
own.

 

I can make these grab irons in any length you want - within reason. They can
be multiple lengths on the same tree. Taking requests for the making very
popular grab iron that was 20 39/64" long. Send a check & I will make all
you want!
