James, if you can wrangle it, take a trip up to Salisbury, NC.  There is the NC 
Transportation Museum there with a roundhouse and some Southern RR locos 
including a Consolidation.  There is a hobby shop across the street called the 
Little Choo Choo Shop.  At least I think it is still there.  It has been quite 
a few years since I had been through that way.
