The next convention should be announced any time now. It probably will be in
West Depthford, NJ. I was hoping that it would be in Portsmouth, NH. The
reasons are many, Where else could we all take a bus trip to Mt. Washington in
July and experience a cold, wet, snowing, July day. Talk about micro climates.
San Francisco has nothing in comparison. It may be a cold, wet foggy day
tomorrow with temps in the lower 50"s in SF but nothing like the top of Mt
Washington in August. Mt Washing has real steam engines running! Then there is
Conway. How many of you have seen the Quality craft B&M Snowplow? They have the
real McCoy and no relation to Sam at all. Portsmouth even has an International
airport! Then there is lake ; "Whip your sock" and the Hobo railroad! I should
mention something the locals call; "Clam Chowder", it is good, not as good as
mine, but still good. What they do have isn't, "Philly Cheese Steak". it is,
"lobster Roll" Sandwiches!
