Bill and group, The biggest news is that S Scale Loco and Supply is back. Fred Rouse had his booth set up and has a number of castings available. He is now spin casting some of the old reliable parts himself.
Also the visit to Gerry Holmes layout was great. Spectacular layout and spectacular view from the terrace. Andy Malette was next to Fred with prototype models of his forthcoming 8 hatch Canadien National reefer. Many of our familiar vendors were there: Tom Hawley, SHS, American Models, Altoona Model Works, Ron Sebastian, Jettie Padgett, Dave Blum, Doug Peck, Lights4Models, Doug Miller, Bill Hostetler, and a number of others who I can't remember. Crescent City S Gaugers had their layout in the trading pit as well as two switching layouts (NASG from Alan Evans) and an 8x8 Christmas tree layout. The Atlantic Coast S Gaugers had both the Georgia and Cost division layouts in a 25 x 50 room up in the hotel lobby area off the hotel bar. A number of clinics were offered and the Chickamunga Turn ride was changed to the Copperhill ride because of track maintenance problems on Chickamunga. The Copperhill ride was longer and better and at now extra cost to the riders. >From Chattanooga, Jim Bresnahan --- In [email protected], "Bill Lane" <bill@...> wrote: > > Any convention debuts of new items?
