John, Thanks for posting progress pictures, and congratulations on having the guts to tackle scenery. I have this "thing" about finishing all the track work before doing so. I also want to get a backdrop up first. One more turnout to install, 3 to adjust and spike, and about 30' of flex track and my upper level is complete. Oh yes, and I need to finish fine tuning my turntable and install more electrical drops. After that I suppose I could start ballasting, but I really want to at least get the backdrop up on one wall. I'm afraid working in engineering and having a sense of "method" prevents me from finishing a small section at a time until all the previous steps are complete. I'll post some pictures in next weeks progress report. Maine is indeed a garden now...and in a couple of months, snow! Ed Kozlowsky Sanford, Maine sscale.org
