Thanks for posting progress pictures, and congratulations on having the guts to 
tackle scenery.  I have this "thing" about finishing all the track work before 
doing so.  I also want to get a backdrop up first.  One more turnout to 
install, 3 to adjust and spike, and about 30' of flex track and my upper level 
is complete.  Oh yes, and I need to finish fine tuning my turntable and install 
more electrical drops.  After that I suppose I could start ballasting, but I 
really want to at least get the backdrop up on one wall.  I'm afraid working in 
engineering and having a sense of "method" prevents me from finishing a small 
section at a time until all the previous steps are complete.  I'll post some 
pictures in next weeks progress report.
 
Maine is indeed a garden now...and in a couple of months, snow!
