Group - I have kit-bashed an A.M. 50 foot gondola, as described in HO in an
article in Model Railroader, June 1985, including scratch-building the
underframe. I wish I'd located decals before I started this work!
Prototype for the M.R. article was Erie 14221, "one of 500 70-ton Erie mill
gons built by the Greenville Steel Car Co. in 1928".
Can you help me identify a source of Eric decals in S scale?
Or, do you know another prototype that used 50 foot straight side sill
gondolas, for which decals are more readily available in S scale?
