Hi all – I just got back from the NASG convention and was working my way through nearly 900 messages when I came across this thread. I guess I will have to pay someone to take my brass then – not only is it painted and lettered for my SLE&P with unrelated tenders attached, but most of it gets run on a regular basis (it’s better for the model than sitting on a shelf). However, I will guarantee the recipient of my brass that it not only runs, but that it runs exceptionally well. My favorite blasphemous loco combination is my 2-10-2, nee SP, with a NYC tender behind it. (How to light a fuse on two fervent groups... )
For all those who missed the convention, I wish you could have come. It was pretty good, in my opinion. Have fun! To a lesser extent my other painted and lettered brass, also. ... Future monetary value be darned! Rich G(ajnak)
