Following up on the Cornerstone kitbashing discussion, my
cut-and-splice job on the Northern Light & Power plant is just about
ready for painting.
Inspiration by a favorite prototype, combined
with a lot of time off,  moved things along at a record-breaking pace.  I
figured on getting to this point sometime next year.
I hate doing
assembly work after applying a final finish, but this thing had to be
designed for disassembly during paintwork. With any luck, I'll get it back
together without making too much of a mess.
