*FLORIDA**O-SCALERS FALL MEET *
Hello 2-Rail O-Scalers (Standard and narrow gauge) and S-Gaugers
The 13^th Annual O scale meet has been arranged for September 29th,
Orlando, FL.We will have the usual swap session, popular vote model
contest, and clinics, lasting from 15 min. to 30 min.The meeting will
again be held at the Holiday Inn Orlando International Airport, were we
have met in the past.We are again extending the invitation to all S
Scalers in the region.I decided to move it up a little bit this year and
hope it won't be a heartache for you.We hope you can make it.
Motel registration is $92.00 per night, but you must inform the motel
that you are with the Florida O-Scalers.Please state the code "OCA" when
making your reservation.The rate is available based on availability
until September 21, 2012.Registration can be made by calling the hotel
at 407-851-6400.The hotel is located at 5750 T.G. Lee Blvd which is just
off Semoran Blvd (SR-436) and the Beach Line Expressway (SR-528).

*Meeting Events*
1)The swap session will be from 9:00 am to noon. Set up will start at
8:00 am. Table rental will be $15.00 ea.The room will be locked and
secured from noon to just after 1:00 PM for lunch.
2)The clinics will start about 1:30 pm. We are planning to have a couple
of half hour clinics, and what ever you might wish to share.We still
have slots open for your mini-clinic (15 minutes max.).If you have a
unique way of doing a specific job we would like to learn and hear about
it.You don't have to be a great speaker with slides etc. Just show us a

3)We will have a popular vote contests for both scales on any rail
equipment or RR associated structure. Bring your latest effort. Even if
_you_ don't think it is "museum quality" we will still enjoy seeing what
you have completed (it doesn't have to be finished). You may win a prize.
Registration for the meet is $20.00 (no admission fee for spouses and
children under 16.)
Table rental is $15.00.We only have space for 20 tables so get your
reservations in early.
