I agree with you. My SHS cars look good to me and better than what we had(got) 
from AC gilbert back then. John wants it to be picture perfect with every 
detail . Think of the cost of the tooling needed to get (all) of the small 
detail parts cast. Most companies use what tooling they have and make do with 
what they have. We need to give our scale a break and wait and see what is on 
the horizon. Best idea I have is if you want fine detail for your rolling 
stock  makum yourself in lots of more than 100.  Some of us don't have money 
available at the time to order within the 100 kit range

Haha, The cars think they need those parts or you need those parts?
The cars probably think they are fine as is, haven't heard mine
