From: Alan Lambert Foort Worthy, Texas Rich, SHS S-Trax (WILL ) allow scale wheels to run on the track. Problem is the original switch that did not have the current frog. Go back and look at an earlier SHS catalogue and yo will see what I am saying, Don may chime in her as well. The Lionel Fastrack is a Lionel spin off and with the mdification will Join up with SHS track. I don't have any but the picture speaks for itself. Alan

Once again, I call your attention to this little ditty my evil twin posted on the S Scale side of the OGR forum: http://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/displayForumTopic/content/4527055137442588 Lionel's S FasTrack has nickel silver rail and is not to be confused with the tubular 3-rail O-gauge version. Granted, Lionel only has 20" radius and 10" straights available at this time and S-Trax wins hands down in both the looks and durability department. But, functionally, Lionel's S FasTrack is compatible (with the small modification illustated in the above link) with S-Trax. As Lionel doesn't have any turnouts available yet (they're cataloged, but not out yet) I can't say IF scale flanges will work on them. But, it's also my understanding that S-Trax turnouts were also designed for Flyer/HiRail flanges and not scale flanges, even after the frog was redesigned. Don can correct me if I'm wrong. Oh, and by the way, civilization will survive with Lionel and MTH making S. Rich G(ajnak)
