Given some of the stuff that's not available with scale wheels, I would strongly consider going HiRail if I ever to decide to build another layout. Frankly... even that idea has some merit to me now. I didn't realize I was going to become so lackadaisical about modeling when I made the decision to enter S scale some years ago. Just don't know what happened to my desire to super-detail, paint/decal/weather, etc. Still have fleeting moments that I would "sort of" like to do some workbench modeling... but it usually fizzles before I even get the workbench cleared off. Sometimes I think it would be great to have scale looking trains (i.e. 2 rails, scale proportions, etc) running about on a nice looking (and simplistic) layout that are much more "plop n' play" than the approach I've taken. Oh well. It's all good... I guess? Andre Ming
