Dear Friends,

Michael Greene [Mobley Library]came through for us.

I was thinking about the January 1964 S Gauge Herald article by Frank Titman
and Will Estes.

"S"ee information below.

If you don't have the S Gauge Heralds, you can get copies from Mike.

Hi Bill,

According to the index there are articles in these issues that might be what
you are looking for:

Mar 1974 - product review of Kinsman Work car/Caboose kit -- the article says
it has no specific prototype, but could be used as a drover's caboose. The
photo looks like some drover's cabooses I have seen..

There is also a review of a another Kinsman caboose kit in the July 1963 issue
-- that looks like a more traditional caboose.

And the January 1964 issue has an article written by Will Estes and Frank
Titman titled "Build a One Car Mixed Train" or a caboose-combine also known as
a drover's caboose. And it has a drawing of a drover's caboose drawn by Frank
along with instructions for making one from from a #40 Combine from the AF Old
Timer set.

If you need a copy of either article let me know.

Michael

Michael,

Please find the Drovers caboose article in the Herald for me.

I have the Herald Excel file, but no longer know how to work it! Tsk! Tsk!

Thank You,

Bill Fraley
