I will be making both pointed and shouldered axles. All wheels are insulated with a small amount of insulation bushing protruding on the outside as in NMRA RP24.3 NOTE 5. This should help eliminate shorts on metal trucks without the need for insulation washers. The wheels will be bright stainless steel as machined but I may offer them painted at some point for a fee.
