I think it would be pretty neat even if it was only on the loco.  And  if 
you could put a couple of freight or passenger cars, all the  better.

Can you imagine how many addresses you'd have if each end of every  car had 
one?  Not to mention the cost!

Tom,

MTH has  had a DCC operated Kadee compatible coupler on their HO 
locomotives for  several years. It's oversized for HO but ought to be just 
about right 
for  S.
