Maybe five years ago, possibly more [2003] , I bought a batch of AF Flat car bodies at a Timonium, Md. train show with the thought of converting them to various S scale rolling stock. My first flat car project was to place a tractor on one, this project was featured in the S Gaugian back then.
Attached is a picture of it, a New York Central # 24583 . The Wheaties Box Car is a Lionel 027 conversion. The Diesel is an SHS converted to a #1502 Reading SWE-4 SW 900m. I apologize for the image, I'm sure I have better somewhere. 8>) Bill (Fraley)
