A few years ago I left some cars at a friend's layout for him to run. I did not have my layout yet. He eventually put a small stickers on the bottom to I D them as my cars. I have had them back for a while now and just got them out to run. I still have some Floquil DioSol. I used it to dissolve the sticker adhesive for removal. It worked really well and did not do any damage to the paint or plastic on the SHS cars.
I cannot vouch for whatever the "1 size fits all" thinner Floquil is selling now. DioSol did the job though..
