Just curious.. is anyone here sure they killed a decoder because it was
overdrawn? I am pretty sure I have not done that. Further it has been many
years since I had a bad decoder at all. In the past year or so I was talking
to Soundtraxx and they mentioned they are sure the Tsunami is good for a
continuous 1 ½ amps and possible a peak of over 2 amps.

The minute decoders are sold as “blank” only is the day I buy my last sound
unit. NOT interested in becoming a sound engineer too….

As Jim mentioned about LokSound, when I last used them the speaker selection
was awful, and very limiting because of the 100 ohm system. RailMaster has
greatly changed that with their line of 100 ohm speakers, but I am sticking
with Tsunamis and 8 ohms. The RailMaster speaker I just put in my AS16 was
significantly smaller than my preferred unit but it still sounds good.
