Big engines sell.  It's a fact.

The Flyer Challenger runs absoluetly fine on 20" radius curves using the 
Rivarrosi style of articulation where both engins pivot.  

I see no reason that Lionel will abandon the method or MTH will not use it.

Heck, MTH even figued ot how to articulate the frame of the HO UP 4-12-2 to 
negotiate 22" radius curves.

Now, bear in mind that MTH has a beatiful H10 in O, there's no reason to 
believe that it won't be translated into S eventually.
