Dear all:
My father suffered a stroke on Tuesday afternoon. Currently, he is in
Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis. Fortunately, my mother was with him in the
car as it happened and was able to get him to pull over and summon help. His
condition is very serious--at this point, we have no idea what kind of recovery
he may make, or indeed, if he will even survive.
So many of you have known my father for so long (from the early 60s in some
instances), that I felt I should let you all know.
