And in my experience and observation, they aren¹t kidding. All Lionel needs
to do is put it in an orange and white box, or in the case of S, a blue and
yellow box, and Lionel will automatically get x number of sales, guaranteed.

MTH, on the other hand, actually has to produce stuff that people want, and
in my conversations with Mike Wolf over the years, he is keenly aware of
this fact.

Ed,

Sounds like MTH is willing to listen to our input about "S Guage". Our input
will not hurt, but will be helpful. Nuf said.

Gentlemen....

Please read this recent correspondence with MTH. Specifically, look at
this sentence from the VP Marketing:

"M.T.H. always welcomes consumer suggestions (snip)"

I rest my case. The rest is up to youse.

Cheers....Ed L.

Dear Mr. Loizeaux,

Thank you for your online submission expressing your interest in learning
more about M.T.H.'s plans for our upcoming S Gauge product line. We
certainly appreciate your comments and suggestions for without consumer
feedback we would be hard pressed to continue producing a product line you
find appealing.

M.T.H. always welcomes consumer suggestions as listening to consumers has
always been the primary driver of our product line development.

We are still formulating our F unit configurations at this time for our
upcoming 2013 product line. As you may know, our O Gauge products utilize
non-powered B units and are sold in ABA configurations while our HO
offerings are all sold as power units and are configured in prototypical
units per roadname (ie: A, AA , AB, or ABA). With such history behind us,
we'll use these other product line experiences to help formulate the best
options for our S Gauge product line.

Finally, M.T.H. does not have a Kristi Jouben in our employ.

Sincerely,

Andy Edleman
Vice President - Marketing
