I don’t know, Tom. When I was using hirail track and flanges, I built quite a lot of kits. Some of them, back in the early ‘60’s, might have even been considered “modern”!
If you guys don’t like someone’s ideas, why don’t you just delete all of their posts like I do? Reading them just gets your blood pressure up <g>. Roger Nulton Don’t call me brother! From: Tom Hawley Sent: Sunday, October 28, 2012 10:30 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} Alan Lambert ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard Karnes I strongly object to Brother Lambert's continual posting about the joys of hirail model railroading on this S SCALE e-list. Lambert has made his points over and over again, and I have had it.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . > > > > > > > > > > > > > I think a lot of us have had it. And the points he make are usually factually wrong or irrelevant. I know a yahoo list is not run like a democracy, but if it were I would second Brer Karnes motion. Mr Lambert in the past 24 hours has posted 15 messages, with such absurd ideas as that high-railers are kit builders and they want modern car kits. If he won't "self-deport," he needs to be voted off this island. om Hawley -- Lansing Mich
