The friendly bantering between Bob McCarthy and Roger Nulton should remind all of us how far we have come in our S Scale models. Compared to what we modeled in the 1960-70's and how good it looked then and how we continue to run those cars when their even mixed with our modern day offerings.
To most of us we really don't give a "Hoot" about and extra [inch or foot] and models like Kinsman, Permabilt and so many others still looks good to us. But many of today's modelers require exact standards of prototype and it makes me wonder is it really possible to produce such a model in any scale? Regarding the Kinsman composite Hopper, I'm attaching mine and I still run it in a small train local pulled by a Rex Mogul. Yes, Model Railroading IS Fun! "S"ee ya, Bill FRaley
