Bob Werre mentioned the John Sudimak award as not being given out in a couple of years, and he is correct. The award was given out and sponsored by the Cuyahoga Valley S Gaugers to the model in the annual modeling contest which was the most popular by a vote of all the attendees. The award was set up to be given out for a period of ten years past John's death, so we had ten plaques made up which were given out each year.
